Our CD Release An Evening for You Fans had been asking the band to record an album for some time. However, their respect for the unique improvisational sound of live Jazz kept them from immediately agreeing on whether to record a live concert or to use a studio. In addition, since they play both up beat dance band swing and softer background standards, they debated what material to record. Their solution: In order to capture their live sound, they went into the studio and recorded this entire album in one sitting...just as though it were live. Basically, it’s Just Jazz –live in concert. This album of dinner or cocktail music, entitled An Evening For You, is the recording of that session.
